Webdesk, TNI Kolkata, 14th September, 2015: Aminia has been one of the heritage restaurant of Kolkata, not only famous in the Kolkata circuits but also its brand valuation lies beyond the bong borders. The massive eatery is spread out over and area of 2000 sq ft in two floors post renovation. It has attracted the passing crowds like shoppers, office goers, tourists and much more. Located at New Market in Esplanade area for many decades has already become not only a place to eat but to relish.
Interestingly its inauguration was on the same day of Indian Independence. The City of Football has drawn stars from famous clubs like East Bengal, Mohun Bagan, Mohammedan Sporting etc. to celebrate their victories in this place. The aroma of its aristocratic biriyani with the scent of saffron is the signature of Aminia. On the occasion of Durga Puja, Aminia has been a destination of many puja revelers for lunch or dinner.
Their pre puja preparation is nothing more. “We serve our customer throughout the year in the same way.” says Ejaz, the manager of Aminia. He said, “Four days of Durga Puja- Saptami, Ashtami, Nabami and Dashami, we keep the restaurant open the whole day and night because of various visitors.
The most popular Dishes on Durga Puja are, Mutton Biriyani, Chicken Chap, Tanduri Chicken, Mutton Shahi Rejala, Mutton Pasinda Kabab, Keshri Firni etc. and the special dish is Mutton Abadhi Biriyani.” There are 8 more branches of Aminia spread throughout Kolkata having the same flavours of Esplanade.
